Booking a party

Your booking is with the Venue, not with Party Booking Wizard. The Venue sets its packages, prices, deposits, cancellation and refund rules, and is responsible for hosting your party.

When you choose a room and time, we hold it for a short time while you finish. Your booking is confirmed once your deposit payment succeeds. If the deposit isn’t paid within the time shown, the reservation is released.

Prices shown include the deposit due today and the balance due to the Venue. Taxes are estimated from the Venue’s rate.

Payments and fees

Deposits are charged by the Venue through Stripe. A small booking fee may be added and is shown before you pay.

Refunds, changes and cancellations are handled by the Venue under its own policy. Contact the Venue directly.

Waivers

Venues may require a signed waiver before your party. The waiver is between you and the Venue; we store the signed copy for the Venue.

For Venues

A subscription is billed per location, as shown on our pricing page, and renews until cancelled. Venues connect their own Stripe account to receive payments and are responsible for their prices, policies, taxes, waivers, and the accuracy of what they publish.

Venues must keep their login credentials secure, give access only to authorized staff, and use guest information only to host and manage parties.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no automated or fake bookings, attempts to tie up a Venue’s calendar, attempts to access other accounts or data, or interference with the service.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Party Booking Wizard is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the Venue’s services, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid to us in the previous twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
